iDesign Printing and Copy Center is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team! As a full-service print and design studio with nationwide reach, we specialize in creating high-quality, one-of-a-kind print pieces. If you’re passionate about print and digital design, and you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
- Design and produce high-quality visuals for print and digital media, including marketing materials, advertisements, and custom client projects.
- Develop campaign elements and brand materials that resonate with our clients’ target audiences.
- Prepare files for print production, ensuring accuracy in layout, color, and other pre-press details.
- Enhance and correct images through scanning, retouching, and color balancing.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain media content for various client needs.
- Troubleshoot design issues and ensure files meet technical specifications for various printing processes (digital, offset, embroidery, screen printing, wide-format, etc.).
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential.
- Strong understanding of print production and pre-press processes, including file setup, bleed, resolution, and color management.
- Experience with typography and layout skills specific to print design.
- Familiarity with file formats for print (PDF, TIFF, EPS, etc.) and digital (JPEG, PNG, SVG).
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to spot and correct potential issues before printing.
- Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to take feedback constructively.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and print experience.
Additional Skills That Would Be a Plus:
- Familiarity with web design principles and email marketing standards.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with wide-format printing and the specific requirements for large-scale projects.
- Understanding of brand guidelines and ability to maintain brand consistency across projects.
